Francky Merlin, M.D.
Dr. Merlin, the Medical Director of Advanced Physicians Group, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Prepared in Nephrology. Prior to his arrival at Advanced Physicians Group, Dr. Merlin practiced emergency medicine at St. John’s Queens Hospital in NY and also served in the emergency department of St. Vincent’s Hospital in Staten Island. After receiving his M.D. degree, he worked in the Division of Endocrinology at St. Luke’s Hospital, NY where he studied glandular diseases.
Dr. Merlin’s experience also includes a position with the Department of Medicine & Psychiatry at the Harlem Hospital Center, NY as Director of an outpatient clinic and as a Clinical Instructor at Columbia University. He was in private practice between 1990 and 1994. Dr. Merlin is fluent in several languages including Spanish, French and Creole.
Jack Agliata, D.C.
Dr. Agliata, the Clinical Director of Advanced Physicians Group, received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in 1987. Dr. Agliata has been the staff physician for both Franklin Fitness Center and Lifestyles Fitness Center. He has appeared on several health and fitness programs including Look Great, Feel Great.
Dr. Agliata has administered chiropractic care to pediatric patients as well as geriatric patients and he has extensive expertise in sports related injuries and reconstructive rehabilitation. Dr. Agliata utilizes Diversified, Cox, ASBE, Motion Palpation and Activator methods extensively.
Claudy-Ann Keasberry, D.C.
Dr. Keasberry is an associate chiropractor for Advanced Physicians Group. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Bridgeport. Dr. Keasberry is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and possesses a special interest in women’s health and the role of nutrition in optimizing health and wellness. Dr. Keasberry has currently submitted her study: The Effects of Chiropractic Manipulation and Changes in Brain Function: A Pilot Study, for publication.
Michael L. Mullins M.A.P.T., C.W.T.
Michael is the Director of Physical Therapy for Advanced Physicians Group. He has a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy, is a Certified Weight Trainer, and has ten years of clinical experience. In addition, he has attended continuing education classes to enhance his knowledge of shoulder and hand disorders, gait analysis, nutrition and supplementation and lumbar stabilization. Currently he is working toward a certification program specializing in the treatment of Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar spinal disorders. Michael is a graduate of Touro College located in New York.
